Hi and welcome to my blog! I'm a 38 year old Engineer and work for a large manufacturing firm in San Diego. For my 36th birthday, I had what can best be described as a mild "mid-life crisis". I ran across a life expectancy calculator and ran the numbers. The answer: 65. I re-ran the numbers, resolving to eat better, work out, and better manage stress...everything I could change. The revised answer: 68. My response: Buy an outrageous car, of course. Being a family man, my cars must have four doors...so what's the most outrageous four door car that I could pretend to afford? How about a Cadillac with a 400 horsepower Corvette engine and a 6 speed manual transmission, a 2006 CTS-V? Delighted with my decision, I started looking. I've not been delighted since...
